It all started when...
One day, after twelve years of administrative office work, I stood up from my desk job, looked at everyone and frighteningly said, "I QUIT".
Sometimes it takes a huge leap of faith to move forward. Sometimes you have to close one door to open another.
That was over a decade ago, and that defining moment plunged me into the journey of cheffing and exploring the depths of my talent in the culinary arts.
Thanks to Wayne at Java Moon for giving a "home baker" a chance to prove herself all those years ago, Breckinridge Farms for hiring a chef with very little experience, and Polo Ranch for seeing a private chef in me, when I wasn't sure I even was one.
These moves gave me the courage to start my original personal chef business, and grow into the labour of love that is now an integral part of my identity, my history.
You don't need a degree to be a great chef - but you do have to have passion. I came by that naturally at birth, and developed the skill to back it up through the years of experience. Now I'm here to share the love with you, bite by bite. Join me in this beautiful feast of life. :)
